What we collect
Account data: your email address and password hash (authentication is handled by Supabase). Usage data: the URLs you scrape, the prompts you write, scrape results, monitors, and credit transactions — this is the product working as intended. Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store card numbers, only your Stripe customer reference and plan status. Anonymous scrapes are stored against a hashed IP address and a browser cookie token, and are deleted after 48 hours unless you sign up and claim them.
How we use it
To run the service: executing scrapes, storing your results, sending the alert and digest emails you've enabled, billing, and preventing abuse (rate limiting by hashed IP). We use privacy-respecting analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic. We do not sell your data or use your scraped results for anything other than serving them back to you.
Third parties we rely on
Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Firecrawl (page fetching), Google Gemini (prompt processing for monitors and refinements), and Resend (email delivery). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
Retention & deletion
Free-plan run history is kept for 7 days; paid history until you delete it. If you cancel a subscription, your data stays for 30 days so you can export it. Deleting your account removes your profile, scrapers, runs, monitors, and credits immediately and permanently — nothing is exported first, and we warn you about that in the app.
Your rights
You can export your data (every table has CSV/JSON/XLSX export), correct it, or delete it at any time from Settings. Depending on where you live (GDPR, CCPA), you may have additional rights — email hello@websitescraper.io and we'll honor them.
Scraped content
You choose what to scrape. Don't use the service to collect personal data in violation of privacy laws — our terms prohibit it, and we block categories of sites (banking, government, people-search) outright.
Changes
We'll update this page when practices change and adjust the date above. Material changes get an email.
